I started swimming in my Sophomore year at Carroll because it sounded fun and I was really interested in the sport.
Swimming has helped me gain confidence, learn hard work and time management. It’s given me a new skill, and allowed me to make new friends.
My favorite swimming memory is almost leaving my bags in a Houston hotel after an out-of-town swim meet, but I didn’t. If my parents weren’t there, I would have had to drive another 4 hours back.
My favorite Coach Murphy quote: “Just pretend the Pakistanis are chasing ya!”
I am undecided about college, but I hope to attend Rice or TCU and study biochemistry, then go onto Med School.
