Lyndsie Gibson

Lyndsie Gibson; My parents are Lori and Michael Gibson.

I started swimming in 2000 when we lived in Singapore because it was too hot to do anything else.

Swimming has taught me competitiveness, discipline, confidence, time management, and goal setting.  It has also taught me how to do with failures and successes.

My best swimming memories are swimming on the high school and club team with my little sister Emily my Junior and Senior year.

My favorite Coach Murphy story is when I added 15 seconds in my 100 Back at the Woodlands travel trip my freshman year.  I thought Murphy was going to let it slide, but little did I know I would get pulled out of practice and “coached” in front of the whole team for 15 x 100’s on Monday morning.

I will attend and swim for the University of Arkansas!  Woo Pig Sooie!!  I plan to major in Business.
